the organisation for economic cooperation and development (oECD)

The OECD is a prestigious intergovernmental organization founded to stimulate economic progress and world trade, headquartered in Paris, France.

When I arrived there in 2020, they had a serious YouTube problem. Hundreds of videos were unorganized, unlabeled, and lacked proper search engine optimization.

So, I headed the audit of their YouTube channel, proposing and implementing a new style guide, transforming hundreds of videos to achieve their full SEO potential.

This was one of my first prototypes. The large OECD logo, prominent title, and inclusion of a human face were stylistic choices that informed our final style guide.

Another early design of mine, the bold colors were highly favored by the team and influential on our final style guide.

This was our final blueprint for the new thumbnail style which included many of my original suggestions.

Four years on, in 2025, the impact of my redesign can still be observed in the branding of the OECD’s newest videos.
